Copies of “Heroes Who Live On, Volume 2” have now been delivered from the press to the BMH Books warehouse and are available for immediate shipping.
The 106-page paperback, which retails for $9.99 a copy, was written by Viki Rife and Robert Cover, Sr., and features the lives and personalities of 13 “Heroes Who live On” from Grace Brethren history. For each, a salient personality characteristic is featured, and a set of discussion questions is included after each vignette for use in “Missions Moments” in worship services, for discussion in Sunday School classes and ABFs, and for use with children in children’s programming. Stunning, lifelike pencil drawings by Sarah Pratt illustrate each personality.
The featured personalities in Volume 2 include Henry Holsinger, L.S. Bauman, Mary Bauman, R. Paul Miller, W.A. and Frances Ogden, Allen Bennett, Orville Jobson, Charles W. Mayes, Jake Kliever, Noel Gaiwaka, Ralph Colburn, and Evelyn Fuqua.
The book is available on the BMH Books website or by calling BMH Books division manager John Leonard at 1-800-348-2756. Large-quantity discounts are available for those who may wish to use it as text or giveaways. A copy of the book will be given to each individual who participates in the “Brethren Heritage Tour” on Thursday night of the upcoming Equip05 Grace Brethren national conference.
