Pastor Larry McCall, a BMH author and pastor at Christ’s Covenant Church in Warsaw/Winona Lake, Ind., will be going on tour this May to speak on his book, Loving Your Wife as Christ Loves the Church. He will be leading a break-out session at the Portland, Maine, Iron Sharpens Iron Conference on Saturday, May 3. On the afternoon of the same day he will be repeating the session at the Iron Sharpens Iron conference in Portsmouth, N.H. On May 5-6, McCaul will speak at the John Bunyan Conference in Lewisburg, Pa.
Stay tuned for his tour schedule this fall, including two conferences on his book, Walking Like Jesus Did, one in Ontario in early October and one in Hong Kong in early November. This challenging but easy-to-read handbook explains that mirroring the character of Jesus should be the normal pattern of life for a Christian, using 14 character traits of Jesus’ life, and explaining how those traits can and should be reflected in the daily lives of Jesus’ followers.
McCall earned a bachelors degree in New Testament Greek (cum laude) and a master of divinity degree from Grace College and Grace Theological Seminary. In 1993, he received a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Ill. His book, Loving Your Wife Like Christ Loves the Church, takes lessons from the crucible of real-life experience and study of God’s Word to deliver a powerful message that there is a model of perfect husband-wife love.
