Warm weather and equally as warm fellowship has been the hallmark of the Northwest Focus Retreat as pastors and ministry leaders from Grace Brethren churches in the Pacific Northwest are gathered this week at Camp Clear Lake near White Pass, Wash.
Led by Clancy Cruise, executive director of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches, the 48 hours away is focusing on the pastor and his family. Sessions are designed to give opportunity for the men to encourage one another in a variety of situations.
Jan Johansen, worship director at Community Grace Brethren Church, Goldendale, Wash., is leading worship.
Warm, clear weather at the camp, which is located in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State, have allowed the men to utilized the campfire circle overlooking the lake.
During Tuesday afternoon’s free, several groups traveled over White Pass, Wash., to hike in the Mount Rainer National Forest. Others hiked closer to the camp, visited in the dining commons, or rested.
The retreat concludes tomorrow morning following breakfast and devotions.
