I am a 90-year-old World War II veteran. During my lifetime I have had several near death experiences.
When I was 6 years old, I had lockjaw. Upon being admitted to the hospital, the doctors did not give much hope to my parents. They said that in those days only one in a thousand survived lockjaw. For one week I lingered somewhere between life and death. My parents prayed as they never had before.
When I was 8, a car hit me and dragged me 50 feet.
Early in my life the question was raised by my family, “If a man dies, will he live again?”
