Local teens quilt for Mexican orphans
Auburn Grace Community Church Sewers and Rippers recently held a one week session for the Junior Sewers and Rippers.
A total of 64 teens participated in the session in which they made quilts for Mexican orphans.
The teens made 86 quilts by choosing 80 squares to create the quilt top.
Each quilter produces a product that is unique and lovely, said founder Rhoda Staurseth.
