In a desire to help people in crisis know that they are not alone in their trauma, Encompass Crisis Response, led by Barb Wooler, is training a corps of 20-30 trauma care workers.
For that reason, a three-day trauma care workshop is planned in mid-January. The trainers, Larry and Cami Robbins, have deep personal experience in trauma care and have trained thousands in trauma care in both Africa and North America.
Their Bible/Truth-Based method has been taught in 100 countries and brings together the strengths of two powerful agencies: The American Bible Society and Wycliffe Bible Translators.
WHO: Believers who have a heart to help people in trauma. (Feel free to share this with others in your church who might be interested.)
WHEN: January 12-14, 2017, 9 a.m. -7 p.m. (for three full days)
WHERE: TBD (probably in a hotel in Ohio) – details coming on December 15
COST: Food and materials will be covered by Encompass Crisis Response. Your costs will be for travel and lodging (two to three nights).
