This spring’s third Day Away “North of 55” for seniors was held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, this past Friday, April 28, at the Grace Church of Willow Valley. It was one of a series of such events sponsored by CE National.
Approximately 130 attended the day, which started with CE National’s executive director Ed Lewis playing a prelude and giving a devotional. Tim Boal, pastor of Penn Valley Grace Brethren Church in Telford, PA, and director of Grace Brethren North American Missions, was the keynote speaker.
Lunch was served at Willow Valley followed by two sessions for workshop choices. Workshops included “Needed: Church Planters From All Age Groups,” “Health Issues-Cholesterol: The Heart of the Matter,” “Prime Time Income Strategies,” “From Success to Significance,” and “For Ladies Only-A Fruit Recipe, 2 Peter 1:1-11.”
The final Celebration Time included comedian Gordon Douglas.
