The first day of the Brethren World Assembly concluded with a mass choir concert in the Riding Hall. The featured choir was the choir from McPherson College in Kansas, a Church of the Brethren school, but several local German choirs performed, as well.
In this concluding number, all singers from all choirs joined together in a grand finale. More than 600 guests are registered from around the world for the events.
Sunday’s program will include a worship service at 10 a.m., the anniversary program in the early afternoon, and a “gathering at the Eder River” at 4:30 p.m. From that point, the Brethren Heritage Tour will continue touring Europe, and the international guests will leave for bad Homburg, a suburb of Frankfurt, where the CHARIS gathering will take place all this coming week.
