Jenn Avey began serving as the executive director for Charis Women today, August 1. At the end of July, Viki Rife retired from many years serving the organization. Below is a note from her that originally appeared in a newsletter from Charis Women.
I have been privileged to serve with Charis Women for the past seven years. As the director of leadership development for the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of learning from an amazing group of women. I am looking forward to continuing the legacy of so many gifted women who have served before me. I love seeing women step into their gifting, gather with others to deepen their connections and relationships, expand their prayer life, and delve into God’s Word. I am eager to lead the team as we work to expand our connections and move forward to equip women for successful growth and ministry impact.
I am a Charis woman and I would love for you to join me in this new chapter. If we haven’t had a chance to meet yet, please reach out as I’d love to hear from you. While some things will change, the values and vision of Charis Women will stay the same: a solid foundation from our past establishing our future.
