GBIM missionary Barb Wooler is currently in the Central African Republic and sends back a great report and photos on one of the projects she oversees–orphan care.
Two-hundred fifty orphan children in GBIM’s Project Hope & Charite (PH&C) are working hard these next couple of weeks to write notes and draw pictures for their Grace Brethren sponsors, Barb says.
She continues, “This is no small feat since many of them do not yet know how to write, and rarely get to hold writing utensils!”
The children are hurrying to complete the project because reliable mail service does not exist these days in CAR, and the way to send mail is via traveler. A traveler will be leaving CAR to return to the States in two weeks and will bring the greetings and thanks for the sponsors.
