Attention all members of the AGBM (Association of Grace Brethren Ministers)!
The proposed prototype new bylaws for the AGBM have been posted on the AGBM website under the “Documents Archive” section in preparation for discussion and adoption at the AGBM meetings during the forthcoming Celebrate06 national conference.
The document is the result of many hours of work by AGBM’s development consultant, Dr. Jerry Young, and the officers of the AGBM.
The AGBM meetings during Celebrate06 at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort in Indian Wells, California, will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. the mornings of Sunday, July 30, Tuesday, August 1, Wednesday, August 2, and Thursday, August 3 (there is no Monday meeting).
Topics for discussion there, in addition to the proposed bylaws, include summary and recommendations from the recent AGBM Certification Summit held at the Lititz, PA, Grace Brethren Church, the giving of the annual AGBM awards, and other appropriate business. Tim Boal, pastor of Penn Valley Grace Brethren Church in Telford, PA, is the current AGBM chair and the chair-elect, who will take office this summer, is Pastor Joel Richards of the LaLoma Grace Brethren Church in Modesto, California.
Feedback or input on the proposed bylaws should be forwarded to Dr. Jerry Young at JRYoung06@aol.com or to the BMH office, which assists the AGBM with communication procedures.
