Alice Peer
From Grace Polaris Church, a Grace Brethren congregation on the north side of Columbus, Ohio, comes this note:
Alice Peer, widow of Pastor Earle Peer, is celebrating her 100th birthday, and you’re invited to help her celebrate! An open house will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. in their home (721 Vancouver Drive, Westerville, Ohio 43081). Alice would especially appreciate receiving lots of cards and greetings. Send them to her home address or bring them with you to the open house. Alice and her husband, Earle, ministered in various Grace Brethren churches until his retirement. She was also the twin sister of Angie Garber, missionary to the Navajo Indians, who died in 2006.
