The first all female Operation Barnabas International team left Sunday morning for Boracay Island in the Philipines. The “eight lovely ladies,” as they call themselves, are teaming with Dan and Tori Beaver to minister to the poor, the children, and others in the communities of the island, as well as in Manila.
They will spend three weeks on the island. They are led by Amy Kendrick, a pastry chef from southern California who is in her eighth year leading an Operation Barnabas team. This is her first time leading an international group.
