Sixty Years ago – 1950
The 13th annual graduation of Grace Seminary was held in the spacious auditorium of the Warsaw, Ind., High School on May 23. The honor students were Homer Austin Kent, Jr., summa cum laude; Charles H. Ashman, Jr., magna cum laude; and Ralph Wilmer Gilbert, cum laude.
Forty Years Ago – 1970
Summer TIME (Training in Missionary Endeavor) team members included John Sturley, of South Pasadena, Calif., who is headed to Brazil; and Wendee Baker, Fremont, Ohio, John Fretz, Lansdale, Pa., and Norman Schrock, Waterloo, Iowa, who will be serving in Puerto Rico.
Twenty Years Ago -1990
The Grace Brethren Church of Waterloo, Iowa (John Burke, pastor) celebrated its 50th anniversary with a weekend of services and activities in May.
