Sixty Years ago – 1950
The Rosemont Brethren Church (M.L. Myers, pastor) dedicated their at Martinsburg, W. Va., on October 22. Dr. Alva J. McClain and Dr. Paul Bauman were the speakers at the day-long celebration.
Forty Years Ago – 1970
Ed Jackson, a 22 year-year veteran of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, has begun to work full-time as the executive secretary of the National Fellowship of Grace Brethren Men.
Twenty Years Ago -1990
The LaLoma Grace Brethren Church, Modesto, Calif. (Joel Richards, pastor) celebrated their 50th anniversary with a catered barbeque dinner for 350 people. The morning service included four former pastors: Peter Bury (1944-45), Harold Painter (1945-1953), J. Paul Miller (1954-1973), and Darrell Anderson (1973-1978).
