Annabelle L. Snyder, pictured here during an 80th birthday party held for her in 2004 at the Winona Lake (IN) Grace Brethren Church, died at Grace Village Health Care in Winona Lake at 5:55 p.m. Monday after a long battle with cancer.
Snyder, 81, was a native of Champion, Ohio, but came to Winona Lake to work as an accountant for the Rodeheaver music publishing company, from which she retired in 1986 after 36 years of service.
An active member of the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, Annabelle served as financial secretary of the church for many years and was known and appreciated for her volunteer work in the Winona Lake area.
She was an active member of the Winona Literary Club for many years and volunteered at the Bowen Center, Senior Center of Warsaw, Grace Brethren International Missions, and CE National. She served as secretary of the Lakeland Community Concert Association for 12 years.
She is survived by her cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister-in-law, and one nephew.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 7 at 2 p.m. at the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church with Pastors John Teevan, Charles Ashman, and D. Robert Griffith participating. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Vienna, Ohio.
