Lynn Shaffer was serving at Vacation Bible School at Gulfview Grace Church in Port Richey, Fla. (Paul Poyner, lead pastor), when she was struck by an idea for a creative way to meet a need in the Central African Republic. She began making and selling art work, with the proceeds going to Hand in Hand Ministries that is providing food and education to children in the CAR.

Art can be purchased from the artist with 100 percent of the proceeds going to support the work Hand in Hand Ministries are doing in the CAR. In addition to original paintings, Lynn is also selling cards, prints, mugs, and magnets with her original images on them. Some of the items will be sold in a silent auction on October 16, and others are available for purchase on Gulfview’s website here. Inquire about a print or send an encouraging note to Lynn here.
