The annual corporation business meeting of the Brethren Missionary Herald Company will be held Wednesday, August 2, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. during Celebrate06 at Indian Wells, California.
At that meeting corporation members and guests will hear financial reports, ministry updates, and will be addressed by the authors of several recent BMH books–Dr. Sherwood Lingenfelter, Dr. Tim Boal, and Kristine Pappas. BMH board chair Dan Thornton will chair the meeting.
Lingenfelter’s book, Breaking Tradition to Accomplish Vision, is on training leaders for a national church-planting movement and Boal’s book, Building Authentic Community, is the theme for the forthcoming year during which Boal will be the moderator of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches. Pappas’ book, still in production, is on finding one’s identity after having been widowed.
The meeting will begin with a luncheon. Tickets are available through the FGBC office and conference registration. Anyone who is affiliated with a Grace Brethren church may become a BMH corporation member by making a financial contribution to BMH in the amount of $25 or more.
