BMH Books, Winona Lake, Indiana, and Whitcomb Ministries of Indianapolis, Indiana, jointly announced this week that they have arrived together at an agreement for BMH to warehouse, distribute, and market the books and charts authored by Dr. John C. Whitcomb, Th.D., and his wife, Norma.
The Whitcombs, who have an extensive speaking and traveling ministry, are the authors of some 20 books and dozens of helpful Bible history and prophecy charts which are in use around the world by biblical scholars, teachers, and students.
Dr. John Whitcomb was professor of Old Testament and theology at Grace Theological Seminary from 1951-1990, and is widely recognized as a leading biblical scholar. He co-authored with the late Dr. Henry Morris “The Genesis Flood,” which is considered a major catalyst for the modern biblical creationism movement. Other John Whitcomb titles include “The Early Earth,” “The World That Perished,” “The Bible and Astronomy,” as well as commentaries on the biblical books of Daniel, Esther, and more.
Norma Whitcomb is a Bible teacher and seminar speaker whose works include “Those Mysterious Dinosaurs,” a series of booklets on ministering to widows, managing family finances, and more.
BMH Books, founded in 1940, publishes substantive Bible reference books, commentaries, and works for the general Christian market. BMH Books publisher Terry White said, “This is a wonderful opportunity to give wider national exposure to the highly-regarded Whitcomb materials. We are thrilled to be chosen to help extend the fine ministry of the Whitcombs.” Dr. John Whitcomb said, “God brought BMH into our ministry at a very critical time. We are most grateful to Him and to you.”
