Visitors and callers to the Brethren Missionary Herald Company this summer will likely be greeted by the friendly voice and face of Heather Barrett (pictured), who is the 2007 summer marketing intern with BMH.
Heather, who began earlier this week, will be working full-time in the BMH front office through the end of August. She is a marketing major (minor in economics) at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.
Among Heather’s duties this summer will be to work on marketing campaigns for various BMH Books products, to help create sales support materials, and to assist in the revision of BMH Books’ trade and general catalog. She will also assist efforts to raise the visibility of the Fellowship’s news and information periodical, FGBC World.
Heather is the daughter of Steve and Sandy Barrett of Warsaw, Indiana, and is the granddaughter of longtime Grace Brethren pastor Gilbert Hawkins.
