Community groups join forces for Thanksgiving feasts
Two Thanksgiving traditions return this week as the Bowling Green Thanksgiving Feast celebrates its silver anniversary on Tuesday and the Global Connections international Thanksgiving meal marks its 17th year on Wednesday.
Both meals feature turkey dinner with all the traditional side dishes.
They are completely free to those who attend. Both are made possible through donations and the volunteers who plan, prepare, serve and clean up.
Christ’s Bible Church in Bowling Green and Grace Church will join forces for the 25th year for a Thanksgiving feast. It will again be at the Bowling Green Community Center on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m.
