The Central Focus Retreat is now history. Ministry leaders from Grace Brethren churches in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Illinois gathered at the Mohican State Park Lodge, near Perrysville, Ohio, for two days of refocusing and refreshment.
Dan Allan, pastor of the Grace Brethren Church of Ashland, Ohio, and Dr. Tony Webb, executive director of Vision Ohio, the Grace Brethren church planting group in the Buckeye State, led the sessions. Worship was led by Ronnie Martin, worship arts coordinator at the Grace Brethren Church, Ashland, Ohio, and Bart Blair, worship pastor at Grace Community Church, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Following the theme, Fully Alive, participants had the opportunity to step away from their regular ministries and focus on what is happening in their own hearts.
The retreat is the first of six regional events that are scheduled for Grace Brethren pastors and ministry leaders. The next retreat will be held October 25-27 at the Grand Hotel in Ocean City, Md. Retreats are also scheduled in Alaska (November 5-7), California (January 31-February 2); Florida (March 14-16); and in the Northwest at Camp Clear Lake, White Pass, Wash. (May 16-18).
