Chip Heim, pastor of East Side Grace Brethren Church, moved from Bexley to Reynoldsburg with his wife, Karen, after their daughter, Karleigh, graduated from high school in 2005.
“Our house is probably the same size, but it cost less, and the taxes are less,” he said. “We had lived in Reynoldsburg before … and it’s about four minutes from my job, so that’s great.”
Whether families move from Bexley, Upper Arlington or Worthington, real-estate agents say they often prefer to stay near their communities.
