CE National has announced the leaders for this summer’s City Life program.
“I am excited for this year’s City Life students as they will have the privilege of spending a week with these quality, godly adult leaders,” said Timothy Kurtaneck (TK) CE National’s director of church relations and youth leadership training. “Margaret is an experienced school teacher from the Los Angeles area, has been an Operation Barnabas leader, and has led City Life teams in years past. Bekah and Tristan are also experienced in working with high school students as they are experienced Operation Barnabas leaders, and both have collegiate undergraduate degrees in youth ministry through The National Institute. This group of students is in for a fantastic week of ministry in the great state of California and I am looking forward to seeing how God works in them and through them this summer!”
Margaret Olmedo is a veteran elementary school teacher and has lead previous City Life teams. She is an Operation Barnabas alum and has served as an Operation Barnabas leader for three summers. The Grace Brethren Church in Norwalk, California, (where City Life is being hosted this summer) is her home church. Margaret is married to Max and their kids include Marie, Ricky, Lucy, and Caesar.
Tristan Spuller is from Warsaw, Indiana, and will be graduating from Grace College this May with degrees in youth ministry and biblical studies. Tristan has a heart for people and seeing them grow to love Jesus Christ. He works as an office assistant at Community Grace Brethren Church in Warsaw, Indiana, and serves as an adult leader for 909 Student Ministries. Tristan brings two years of Operation Barnabas leadership experience and he is overjoyed to be a part of City Life.
Bekah Kurtaneck was born in Southern California and raised in Winona Lake, Indiana. She graduated from Grace College in 2013 and has lived in Columbus, Ohio, Los Angeles, California, and Warsaw, Indiana, since then and is currently pursuing a career in medicine. She is passionate about working with students to help them follow Jesus and walk in truth. Bekah is an OB alum from 2010, led tours in 2013 and 2014, and is thrilled to be on the City Life leadership team for 2018!
