Community comes together to help local family after tragic loss

Thursday night, First Grace Brethren Church in Vandalia held its annual Christmas concert gave all of its donations to Gabby’s memorial fund.
It’s a church the Ellis’ don’t belong to, but were welcomed with open arms and sat in the front row.
“We told them they didn’t have to be but they really wanted to be and we’re hoping tonight that it will be a place of hope,” said Pastor Bruce Jackson.
