Former Grace Brethren pastor, Donald Ralph “Don” Taylor, 77, of Warsaw, Ind., died at 7:21 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018, at his home. He was born on July 13, 1940, in Jollytown, Pa., to Rex and Nellie Mable (Campbell) Taylor.
He graduated from West Central High School in Greene County, Pa., Grace College, and received a Masters of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary. He grew up in Pennsylvania and lived in Michigan before moving to the Warsaw area in the early 1980’s from Flora, Ind. On November 21, 1989, in Warsaw, Ind., he was married to Lee Ann (Sturgill) Peters, who survives. He formerly served as pastor in Trout Lake, Mich., and Flora, Ind., taught school in Michigan, and retired from Kosciusko County Maintenance Department.
He was a member of the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church where he was part of the Fight Club.
He is survived by his wife, Lee Ann Taylor, seven children, 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5,, 2018 at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, Ind. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County is in charge of all arrangements.
