Elaine Bearinger passed away on August 5, 2005, in Bradenton, Florida, after a brief illness. She was 87.
Elaine was the widow of Rev. Ernie Bearinger, former Grace Brethren National Youth Director, pastor in Southern California, and missionary to Brazil.
She had lived in the Bradenton Missionary Village for the past 18 years. She was active in their music program and various missions causes. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Bearinger Solomon, retired missionary living in the Bradenton Missionary Village, and a son, Dr. Charles Bearinger, retired pastor living in Houston, Texas.
Many will remember Elaine when she ran the snack bar in the basement of the Grace Seminary building in Winona Lake, IN, during the late 50s and early 60s. Also, she accompanied Ernie to his many youth camps and events.
