Pastor Jack Brown of the North Shore Bible Church in Gloucester, Massachusetts, sends along this photo and news note:
On March 7-9 the annual Shepherds Conference was hosted by Grace Community Church in Sun Valley California, pastored by Dr. John MacArthur.
Along with MacArthur the keynote speakers included Mark Dever, Al Mohler, Steve Lawson,Ligion Duncan and C.J.Mahaney. John Piper was scheduled to be there but with the recent homegoing of his dad was unable to attend.
The conference was attended by more than 3,000 pastors and elders from around the world, including more than 20 FGBC pastors and elders from the states of California, Oregon, Washington, Ohio, New Mexico, and Massachusetts.
On Friday evening seventeen of those pastors and elders enjoyed a great time of fellowship at a local Denny’s restaurant (pictured).
If you have never been to the Shepherds Conference I believe all these men would encourage you to check it out. The conference is held the first week of March each year.
