Grace College’s women’s soccer team was honored with five players receiving All-American awards from the NAIA and NCCAA.
Allison Vroon, Aubrey Feipel, Bethany Blackwood and Jenni Phillips were all named First Team All-American by the NCCAA and United Soccer Coaches. Corinne Villalobos earned NCCAA Second Team All-American status.
Additionally, Vroon and Feipel were both honorable mention for NAIA All-American.
The Lady Lancers finished the season with a 20-4-1 record, the first time in team history winning 20 games. Grace hosted an Opening Round match in NAIA Nationals and missed out on playing for an NCCAA championship by a tiebreaker, marking one of the most accomplished seasons in team history.
In the classroom, Grace racked up numerous national awards.
Feipel was honored as Second Team All-America by CoSIDA, which recognizes student-athletes for athletic and academic achievement.
Nine players were named Scholar-Athletes by the NAIA or NCCAA, including Shelby Fort, Clair Snodgrass, Feipel, Vroon, Liz Van Wormer, Flavia Faria, Hannah Tkacz, McKenna Cruz and Kristen Bellinger. – from gclancers.com
