Waldorf native Gregory signs professional basketball contract
After four solid seasons as a member of the Loyola University men’s basketball team where he attained one career mark and several single-season records for the Greyhounds, Waldorf native Cam Gregory recently signed a professional contract with Tromso Story of the BLNO, the top league in Norway.
Gregory, Loyola’s all-time leader in field goal percentage (.582) and third in rebounds (876), set the single-season school record for field goal percentage in 2016-17 (.638) and had the third-best mark in 2017-18 (.586), scored 1,019 points in his career with the Greyhounds, which is good for 37th in school history. But Gregory is eager to see how his college days transition into success in the nine-team BLNO.
