After a memorable fall season, Grace College’s men’s tennis team had four members land on the postseason All-Crossroads League Team.
Max Rozas, Ramiro Candia, Fabricio Galvan and David Sandi were All-League honorees for the Lancers.
The quartet helped Grace to an incredible 12-2 record this fall. The Lancers were 7-1 in the Crossroads League and were runners-up in the regular season and conference tournament. Grace picked up a pair of wins over No. 19 Marian as well as a 4-0 win over Judson (receiving votes in the NAIA).
Rozas picked up his third consecutive All-League award. The junior went 12-4 overall this fall, including 6-2 in both singles and doubles.
Galvan is now a two-time All-League performer. The senior won the most games for Grace during the fall. He posted an overall mark of 21-3 while going 11-1 in singles (10-2 doubles).
Sandi is also a two-time All-League winner, picking up the award last year as a member of Taylor’s team before the Trojans’ tennis program was ended. Sandi was especially strong in singles during the fall with a 7-1 mark.
Candia was efficient for Grace in his first All-League campaign. The sophomore went 9-1 in doubles’ play, producing an overall mark of 15-4.
The Lancers’ season is not done, however. Grace will be back in action this spring to wrap up the 2020-21 campaign. – from gclancers.com
