The Grace Brethren Investment Foundation (GBIF) has recently approved $3,626,250 in new financing to assist ministries within the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches (FGBC). Included in this total are loans to the following Fellowship churches:
A transfer of a financing package was completed from a local bank in Ohio to GBIF. A first mortgage loan was approved for the Basore Road Grace Brethren Church (Shannon Horst, pastor), 5675 Basore Road, Englewood, Ohio.
Another transfer of financing from a local bank in Maryland was completed with the approval of a first mortgage loan to the Grace Chapel, a Grace Brethren church located at 39245 Chaptico Road, Helen, Md. (Carl Snyder, pastor).
The East Side Grace Brethren Church (Chip Heim, pastor), 7510 East Broad St., Blacklick, Ohio was granted a first mortgage loan to purchase a 1,500 sq. ft. house on six acres adjacent to the church’s main campus to be used for future ministry.
The Grace Brethren Church of Greater Atlanta (Jim Laird, pastor) was approved under a first mortgage loan to purchase their worship facilities located at: 100 & 200 Ring Road, Kennesaw, Ga. The church has been leasing these facilities for some time.
