Grace College Graduate Dies In Motorcycle Crash
Not often emergency room staff find themselves trying to save the life of a co-worker. However, the ER staff at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, found themselves doing just that, but with a tragic ending.
According to WSBT News, Nicole Beguin, 23, Plymouth, died from injuries in a motorcycle accident which occurred at Sample and Michigan in South Bend. Beguin was not only a nurse at Memorial Hospital, but a 2013 graduate of Grace College, Warsaw.
Beguin and Andrew Pavolka, LaPorte, a South Bend Firefighter and also an ER employee at Memorial, were on a motorcycle when it collided with a car early Saturday. Pavolka, the driver of the motorcycle, and Beguin, his passenger, were both wearing helmets. Pavolka is reportedly in good condition. …
