Grace College, Winona Lake, Ind., is the site of the 2012-2020 NCCAA Division I Basketball National Championships this week. The first games tipped off today and continue through Saturday, March 17. Earlier in the week, the teams were involved in community service projects around the Warsaw area.
The Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center, which seats more than 2,000 fans, will host the men’s and women’s tournaments. With an exciting basketball atmosphere, the MOCC is one of the premier basketball arenas in the Midwest. Grace College is proud to partner with the National Christian College Athletic Association in hosting the national championship.
More than 100 Christian colleges and universities comprise the NCCAA involving well over 13,000 student-athletes and 850 coaches. A combined total of 25 national championships in men’s and women’s sports is sponsored by the NCCAA. The very existence of the NCCAA speaks to the need of a different game plan for college athletics in the midst of an era when the very foundations of our society are being eroded morally.
