Grace College’s athletic teams had an impressive fall session, both on and off the playing surface.
All student-athletes at the Winona Lake, Ind., school (both in and out of season) combined to average a 3.37 GPA. A whopping 76 percent of student-athletes (188 total) finished the semester with a 3.0 GPA or higher. And Grace also featured 28 individual men and women with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Overall, 14 of Grace’s teams posted a GPA of at least 3.0 in the fall. The volleyball team, coached by Katie Van Hofwegen, led all Lancer programs with a 3.58 GPA. Women’s basketball, under Scott Blum, had a 3.56 GPA, and Jeff Raymond‘s women’s cross country squad posted a 3.55 GPA. — from gclancers.com
