For the first time in recent history, Grace College’s men’s tennis team achieved a national ranking in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.
The Lancers, coached by Andy Lewis, landed at No. 20 in the NAIA. It marks Grace’s first Top 25 ranking in the last two decades.
The Lancers have been receiving votes since March, when the last NAIA poll was released prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Grace enjoyed a sensational fall season. The Lancers posted a 12-2 record, which included two wins over then-No. 19 Marian. Grace went 7-1 in the Crossroads League and advanced to the CL Tournament championship match.
This spring, Grace has prepared a number of ranked matchups to further test its ranking. The Lancers will take on five teams ranked or receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll.
