Grace College and Seminary has recently partnered with Eastern Union Christian College to provide an online associate degree program in Biblical Studies for the Columbus, Ohio, community.
The program begins fall 2014 and will help those seeking to increase their knowledge of the scriptures while becoming better equipped to serve in ministry. Executive Director of Regional Initiatives Dr. John A. Teevan is excited that, “Students will get the Grace online experience – classes that emphasize a biblical worldview, strengthen character, sharpen competence, and prepare them for service.” A sampling of courses from the program include: Exploring the Bible, Introduction to Psychology, Consumer Economics, and Scripture and Interpretation.
“We are excited about the partnerships and relationships Grace College is developing in the Columbus, Ohio area,” said Celeste Allen, Grace College Columbus. “We look forward to the movement of the hand of God as Grace offers affordable online education to the Columbus community.”
“We at Eastern Union Christian College are excited about our new partnership with Grace College,” said Dr. Michael A. Noble, president of Eastern Union Christian College. “As we continue to prepare men and women for Christian service, we are confident that our relationship with Grace College will only serve to enhance our efforts and improve the community in which we live. We rejoice in the spirit of cooperation between Eastern Union and Grace and are even more enthusiastic about the benefits that will be enjoyed by our community through this joint venture.”
Grace’s commuter locations are geared toward the traditional college student who wants a quality, affordable Christian education, but is looking to stay close to home. Tuition is quoted at a flat-rate charge per semester, placing it significantly lower than most other Christian residential and private commuter colleges.
