Grace College in Winona lake, Ind., will host its 31st annual FunFest on Friday, October 29, from 6:00–8:00 in the Gordon Health and Wellness Center, 100 Publishers Dr., Winona Lake. FunFest is free and open to all children and their families. This year’s theme is “Carnival.” Children are invited to dress-up in the carnival theme or in the costume of their choosing.
“I am looking forward to being able to connect with the community after having to take a year off from this event due to Covid,” said Melissa Mucci, a second-year student leading the event. “I believe this will be a fun event for both the children and the volunteers. We’ve got some really exciting activities and prizes in store for those who attend!”
At FunFest, 60 Grace College student volunteers will provide entertainment including carnival-themed games, balloon animals, and face painting. FunFest has been a tradition on Grace’s campus for three decades. It’s coordinated by SERVE – the student-led ministry club at Grace.
“Funfest is a longstanding tradition of Grace College,” said Kearstin Criswell, director of student involvement. “It is a great opportunity for our students to practice hospitality and create memorable activities for the community!”
