Grace College, Winona Lake, Ind., is now accepting applications for its new location in Greenwood, Ind. Grace College was recently approved by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) to offer its bachelor’s degree completion program, Grace Opportunities for Adult Learners (GOAL), at Greenwood Christian Academy, 835 W. Worthsville Rd., Greenwood.
GOAL is a unique, affordable program for adults who wish to complete their four-year degree while maintaining family and work commitments. The program is specifically designed for Ivy Tech Community College graduates, Grace College Indianapolis associate degree graduates and adults who have interrupted their higher education for other responsibilities. GOAL classes are held one night per week and on two Saturdays per semester. Building upon previous college credits and life-long learning experiences equivalent to about two years of college, a B.S. in Management can be completed in as little as 16 months.
Sean Wamsley, a resident of Greenwood, graduated from GOAL this summer with a bachelor’s degree in business management. “I chose GOAL because I wanted to get my degree from a school known for great educational and Christian standards,” Wamsley said. “GOAL also allowed me to continue my education while working a full-time job.” He encourages prospective students to enroll in the GOAL program. “Grace provides a very personal, focused environment,” he said. “All of the professors go the extra mile to make sure you succeed in and outside of the classroom.” With his Grace College bachelor’s degree, Wamsley anticipates advancing in his career at IWP, an Indianapolis-based commercial construction company.
GOAL classes in Greenwood will begin in January 2017. Grace College Indianapolis, located on the far north side at 9302 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, offers associate degrees with a focus in liberal arts and business as well as a GOAL bachelor’s degree in management. The GOAL program is also offered completely online.
