Grace Fellowship Church, Brunswick, Md., held its first public service on Sunday, February 25, with 179 people in attendance.
“One person indicated they are entering a faith relationship with Jesus Christ,” pastor Scott Avey reported. “We blessed two precious members of the community with $500 of grocery gift cards. I am so proud of my team- such a great spirit of unity and service. Glory to God. Our hearts are full and overflowing.”
The service comes after months of planning and praying. The church serves the Brunswick, Jefferson, and Point-of-Rocks communities of Frederick County Md. They are meeting at Brunswick Elementary School, 400 Central Avenue.
Grace Community Church, Frederick, Md. (R Greene, pastor) is the mother church for the new congregation. Avey previously served on staff there and a number of families from the Frederick church moved to the Brunswick community to help with the new congregation.
