Pincushion Pals Donate Over 1,500 Masks To WCS

Warsaw Community Schools is grateful to all the volunteers and donors who have helped WCS prepare for the start of the 2020-21 school year, according to a news release from WCS.
The latest donation of 1,500 handmade masks that will go to the WCS Transportation Department, school buildings, and new teachers was gifted by a group called Pincushion Pals. These volunteer sewers make up to six masks per hour. Volunteers delivered 300 more handmade masks for the nurse’s office today.
The Pincushion Pals club originated out of the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. Ann Sweet is the coordinator. Funding support for the materials for the masks came from multiple individual and corporate donors.
