For regulars of the “One Way Cafe,” the first Saturday of every month is one to look forward to. That’s when Hagerstown Grace Brethren Church opens the doors to its Christian coffeehouse.
Saturday marks the coffeehouse’s fifth anniversary. The Middletown, Md., band Common Clay will be providing the music.
“The coffeehouse was started to allow families an evening of fellowship, food and entertainment in a ‘relaxed’ atmosphere,” committee member Blake Gelwicks said in an e-mail. He said there is no charge for the entertainment and food provided.
The “One Way Cafe” is on the lower level of Hagerstown Grace Brethren Church at the corner of First and Spruce streets in Hagerstown. Doors open at 6 p.m., hot food is served at 6:30 p.m. and music starts around 7 p.m.
