HAGERSTOWN — Hagerstown businessman Andrew Serafini, a self-professed advocate of traditional marriage and conservative politics, has been nominated to fill the Maryland House of Delegates seat vacated last month by Robert A. McKee.
The Washington County Republican Central Committee announced its decision Monday to nominate Serafini, owner of Serafini Financial Services of Hagerstown. The nomination will go to Gov. Martin O’Malley for final approval.
“By God’s grace, and with the support of both my family and the local constituency, I will serve the community to the best of my ability and use my life experiences as a husband, father, businessman and member of our community to provide servant leadership to District 2A,” Serafini said.
