Word has been received of the death of Henry Weber, 93, a longtime member and former elder of Grace Church, a Grace Brethren church in Lititz, Pa. (Ivanildo Trindade, pastor) and a former member of the board of trustees at Grace College and Seminary. He died Saturday, May 3, in Manheim, Pa.
Services will be held at 3:30 p.m, Sunday, May 11 at Grace Church, 501 West Lincoln Ave., Lititz, with fellowship, visitation, and viewing from 1:30 to 3:30.
This note was sent to Grace College faculty and staff yesterday: Henry and his wife, Frances, have meant a great deal to our campus. Their generous donations have assisted Grace in Westminster Hall, institutional and student financial aid endowment, Indiana Hall, the MOCC, and establishing the Henry and Frances Weber School at Grace College. We will have our first graduates from the Weber Schools at Commencement this week.
Henry served for 16 years on the Grace Board of Trustees (1995-2011). Frances preceded him in death in 2010. They were the parents of five children. Henry’s sweet spirit, sense of humor, and love for flying and for Scrabble will long be remembered on the Grace campus.
