The late Tom Sharp loved to tell people about Jesus. He moved to Mexico to show its citizens God’s love. In the years since Tom’s death, his friends have continued that tradition through funds raised at an annual softball tournament in northcentral Ohio.
You, too, can know everlasting love. God loved us so much, that he sent His son, His one and only son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. He didn’t want anyone to die, but to have eternal life (see John 3:16).
It’s a simple process. All we need to do is acknowledge our sins, confess them, and He will forgive us. He’ll purge us from all wrongdoing (see 1 John 1:9).
God promises us that anyone who believes in Him and who chooses to follow Him, has real, lasting life and is no longer condemned to be an outsider. That person has moved from the world of the dead to the world of the living (see John 5:24).
If you would like to receive eternal life and experience God’s love, pray these or similar words to God: Father, I know I am a sinner. I know I have
done wrong. Please forgive my sins and accept me as Your child. I choose to follow you. Amen.
If you have just prayed this prayer or would like to know more, please contact the church from whom you received this paper or contact FGBC World.
