Arthur Davis, chairman of the Grace College Art Department, died April 30. Prof. Davis joined the Grace faculty as a part-time instructor in art in the spring of 1974. He became a full-time instructor that fall and in 1991 became the department chair. He is survived by his wife, Laura; two sons, Brian Davis (and fiancee Amy Strong) Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Kevin (and wife June) Davis, Orlando, Fla.; his father, John J. Davis Sr., North Manchester, Ind.; and two brothers, John J. Jr. (and wife Carolyn) Davis and Robert Davis, both of Warsaw, Ind..

Daniel Grabill, 72, of Xenia, Ohio, died May 19, 2008. He was a long-time Grace Brethren pastor and Christian school administrator. He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Joan Grabill, of Xenia; two sons, Dr. Stephen (Rebecca) Grabill of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Douglas Grabill of Dayton, Ohio; two older brothers, Roy Grabill of Shreve, Ohio, and Bob Grabill of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren.
Norma N. Matthes, 68, wife of retired Grace Brethren pastor Quentin Matthes, died on Friday, May 2, 2008, at Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake, Indiana.
Lynn Schrock, former missionary with Grace Brethren International Missions, died April 19, 2008. Lynn and his wife, Lois, served in Argentina from 1945-1970. Lynn is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lois; his twins, Norman (and wife, Claudia) and Becky; his youngest son, Mark (and wife, Debby); seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
