Dr. Bill Katip, president of Grace College & Seminary, and Dr. Nate Bosch, director of the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams at Grace College, were guests on Inside INdiana Business on July 14. Drs. Katip and Bosch discussed the new Dr. Dane A. Miller Science Complex which is nearing completion and set to open to students next month. The $8 million development, named after the late president and CEO of Biomet, Dr. Dane Miller, will house new and renovated labs, science and mathematics classrooms, and the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams. In addition to state-of-the-art learning facilities, the Science Complex will be a prime location for K-12 field trips with its 85 aquariums, interactive sand tables, and the world’s first virtual fresh-water aquarium.
