Grace College, Winona Lake, Ind., is pleased to extend a friendly welcome to the local community as it celebrates the 15th annual Taste of the World event on Thursday, November 14 from 5–7 p.m. at Grace’s Gordon Student Recreation Center. This year’s Taste of the World event, hosted by Grace College and sponsored by Encompass World Partners (an international missions organization) and Mosaic, Grace’s culture club, will focus on the food, music, and culture of Japan.
Grace hosts Taste of the World annually as part of its Conference on Mission, which will take place Tuesday, November 12 through Friday, November 15. Over 30 missions will be represented and 41 mission guests will visit campus to participate in seminars growth groups, prayer focus, and chapel sessions with the Grace community. Several mission guests will be present during the Taste of the World event, displaying information about their ministries.
The evening will boast live entertainment as well as family games and activities. The meal costs $6 per person, and children five years of age and under are free. Tickets are sold at the door. “It will be an exciting evening for community members and students alike,” said Carlos Tellez, Dean of the Chapel and Global Initiatives.
