During Momentum East in late July, Je’Rod Cherry was moved to do something for the needy children around the world. By the end of the week, he and his wife, Samua, had committed to selling one of his most prized possessions — the ring he received as a team member of the Super Bowl-winning New England Patriots — and donate the proceeds to organizations such as Asia’s Hope and Feed My Starving Children.
The ring, received in 2002 following the team’s 20-17 win over the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI, is being offered in a raffle that will also raise funds for several Boston area charities. Click here to see the commercial that features Je’Rod talking about his desire to help others.
