YIB (Your Intrepid Blogger) is in Atlanta this week, exhibiting BMH books at the ICRS (International Christian Retail Show), formerly known as CBA or the Christian Booksellers Association.
BMH author Kary Oberbrunner (pictured) signed autographs in copies of his BMH book Called today from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Attendees include owners of Christian bookstores, buyers for stores, and buyers for chains of stores.
Here is how Christian Retailing magazine describes the event:
CBA’s International Christian Retail Show, which opened yesterday in Atlanta, was expected to have up to 9,000 in attendance. The exhibit floor opened today and will feature Christian books, music and gifts from 386 exhibiting companies in 1,129 booth spaces, including 67 first-time exhibitors.
The show will run July 8-12 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Retailers from all 50 states and 58 countries will attend the annual gathering of Christian retailers and product suppliers.
